Description

Scolopendra morsitans is found throughout Australia and comes in hundreds of colour forms depending on Locality. This form is from around Wiluna in WA’s centre . They have stunning pink-orange tergites with dark purple bands and terminal legs. The other legs are yellow except for the first 2 pairs. The tips of the antennae are yellow. Adults of this form are robust and are a darker red rather than pink. This form should be kept dry with a water dish and one corner of the enclosure moist at all times.

Centipedes continue growing after maturity unlike nearly all spiders, all insects and all scorpions.
