Description

This medium-large rockhopper species is found in dry forest along Australia’s east coast, from NSW to SEQ. Males are black with 2 thick, white bands on the abdomen and fluffy, brushed legs used to dance to females. Females are dark brown with numerous yellow-white stripes along the body. Males are 4-5mm in length.
