Giant green jumping spider juveniles (Mopsus mormon)
$30.00
Possibly our most handsome jumper!
Out of stock
Description
This is possibly our largest jumping spider in Australia – reaching 18mm in body length and is only rivalled by a few others, such as Bavia aericeps.
They are usually a bright green in colour but can be yellow or orange. Females have red spots bordered by white on top of their heads, while males have a fringe of hair around the face that gives them a “monkey face” appearance. Juveniles are lemon-yellow.
These juveniles are quite fragile and will bite if mishandled. We don’t recommend handling these small juvies as they can easily get hurt.
*unsexed juveniles available*
