Description
This extremely rare mantis species has never been properly photographed before, due to it’s remote distribution in the western top end.
This is large species, reaching about 80-90mm in length. The epithet ‘gracilis’ refers to it’s more slender form compared to other Archimantis species
sold as unsexed nymphs

Cute little mantis. Honestly didn’t expect it to be shipped until next week, but was pleasantly surprised. It seems to have moulted while in transit as there was some some shedded exoskeleton at the bottom of the container they were shipped in.
