Description

Prowling spiders are large spiders found throughout Australia, the species form arid areas are often larger. They build dense silken retreats underneath logs and rocks, emerging at night to hunt. Miturga are light brown spiders with a series of dark stripes all over their body. Juveniles are pale and have reduced patterns.

This species reaches 20mm in body length and is found in semi-arid mallee habitat north of Adelaide, SA.
