Description

This species of medium sized scorpion is found throughout dry mallee regions of VIC, SA, and,NSW. They are similar in pattern to marbled scorpions though almost twice the size and have a noticeable orange-red complexion. These scorpions are semi-arboreal and can often be found under peeling tree bark or similar.

These scorpions do best in a dry, slightly ventilated setup with a water bowl full of scoria.

Grows up to about 55mm in length.
