Resplendent ant spider (Zodariidae sp. 6)

Description

This is an absolutely stunning species of Zodariid spider. These spiders generally eat ants but in captivity do fine eating crickets. This species is found at the base of trees next to the Murray River in the SA mallee.

Grows to 17mm in body length.
