Description
This is a currently undiagnosed ‘morphospecies’ of medium-large scorpion found in some areas of the northern WA. This species has never become available in the hobby before.
These scorpions are similar in many respects to Lychas lappa, with pale yellow colouration and many faint brown spots. However they are a fair bit smaller than lappa, reaching 50-60mm in length. They are found in sandy habitats in the tropical deserts of northern WA.
This species is very difficult to care for and not suitable for beginners. They need a dry setup with some ventilation and a shallow water dish with scoria. This must always have water in it, this make them more high maintenance than other scorpions.
