Tiger raspy crickets are large, predatory crickets found in arid SA. They are wingless and bright yellow with black stripes.
Raspy crickets are quite aggressive and have the strongest bite force of any insect so should not be handled. They should be fed live or freshly dead prey such as crickets, fruit and vegetables and grains/seeds like rolled oats.
