Description
These peculiar, undescribed Anamid wishbone spiders are found in SA’s coastal mangroves and mud flats. Juveniles build simple burrows without any silk over the entrance typical for Aname. Adults build more typical Anamid burrows with sparse silk over the burrow entrance and a lightly soil coated escape tunnel under a bush. “Two-toned” refers to the light and dark colours on the legs.
A smaller species, grows to 30mm in length.
Slings are much lighter in colour and males are leggy and nearly fully bronze-silver.
