Description
This species of flat-backed (Polydesmid) millipede is found in leaf litter in SA. This species grows to 4cm long and doesn’t readily secrete smelly liquid when disturbed like most millipedes do. This species is a shiny light brown and curls into a spiral when disturbed.
Millipedes require moist substrate (preferably something like organic compost or flake soil), and rotting/ pulpy wood and leaf litter to feed on.
