Helpis is a genus of medium-large jumping spiders found Australia wide, generally in wetter regions.
This species is found around Hahndorf in the Mount Lofty ranges, under the bark of large eucalyptus trees in sclerophyll scrub.
This species grows to 12mm and is quite friendly.
