This small-medium sized, robustly built huntsman is found in a few small areas of Queensland. This species is predominantly ground-dwelling and prefers rainforest habitat which is unusual for huntsman spiders.
As with other rainforest huntsman spiders, these spiders require little to no ventilation and higher humidity than most huntsman so cannot be housed in mesh enclosures.
