Description
These stunning orb-weaving spiders are found in Northern Queensland and build smallish orb webs on foliage, in rainforests. These spiders are quite unique not Noel because of their bright yellow and black marking, but also due to their hardened (sclerotised) and unusually shaped abdomen. Because of this and their extremely timid temperament, with some care they can even be gently picked up by the sides of their abdomen. Orb webs can be encouraged by giving them a roomy and airy enclosure with lots of large fake plants.
