Description

Maratus chrysomelas is a small and extremely colourful species of peacock spider. They are about 3-4mm in length and have an iridescent abdomen.  Depending on which angle you look at it, this iridescent shine can be from a bright, shiny and vibrant red to a blue, orange, yellow, purple, green and even white colour. If you’re having trouble seeing the bunny, take the black areas on the abdomen as the ears!

These are very small and will require true baby crickets or flightless fruit flies.

These species are found all over Australia in drier areas and are around the whole year.

• sold as adult males so you can stare at them the whole day and marvel at their cuteness!
