Description

This small-medium sized mantis is closely related to the common Garden Mantis (O. ministralis) but can be distinguished by the slightly more banded legs, prominent white stripe underneath the abdomen and thicker white margins on the wings in adults. This species also prefers to live in drier areas and is much less common than O. ministralis.
